Can anyone recommend a small light-wire 1" hook, maybe #4 or #6? I'd prefer EWG but can round bend as long as it's off-set.  I know it doesn't seem like bass gear but it's going on a 4.5" zoom finesse worm, 4 lb line in pressured waters.  Thanks

I'm not exactly sure how short they are, but I have these in a 2/0 that I use to pour on a 1/8oz swing head for the Pit Boss Jr and it fits it well. I'd imagine the #1 is getting really close to what you're looking for. It's a very short shank hook just as advertised.

Gamatkatsu #2 EWG and #1 Roboworm rebarb hook should fit 4.5” finesse worm. I use these with 4.5 Roboworm, dropshot or Texas rig 1/8oz weight. I think it is not 1” but about 1.5”.

I'll second the Owner Rig N Hook in a size 1. It's 1 1/8" long. I just happened to have a ruler and some of my tackle at my feet. Gamagatsu Offset G-Lock hook in 1/0 is 1 3/16" long. I use both for small finesse plastics and the Zoom Finesse worm and the 4" Dead Ringer are at the top of the rotation.

Gammy makes their EWG hooks in sizes down to a #4.

+1 ... You don't need to go that small though as a #2 size EWG Gamakatsu hook would be ideal for a Zoom finesse worm (a #4 EWG hook would not provide enough gap for a Zoom finesse worm) .
