Bass Fishing during Hottest Part of Summer

What’s everyone lure choices and techniques during these hot summer days? Also what water locations does Fisherman target Bass during the Summer Days? Thanks

I fish mainly early morning like 6 to 9 am and then late evening 6 to 9pm...those are bite windows that exist most of the year where I am..the daytime bite right now is almost non existent for me since I'm shore bound. To be honest if my local ponds allowed it id night fish but they dont. I've been targeting bass lately in a shallow channel that connects two ponds...the bass move thru it mornings and evenings following pods of shad. The opposite side of the channel is lined with rip rap and is usually good for at least a few bites from fish targeting craws and green sunfish. Water temps here are at peak highs now and should start turning and going the other way in the next several weeks...my local ponds have had temps around 85 or so the past almost month so the bass are feeling it. As far as lures go I've been using all kinds of stuff to catch a few..mojo rigged worm,small spinnerbait,finesse jig,frog,Texas rigged worm have all accounted for a few fish recently. But my two all stars the past few weeks have been a kvd 1.5 shallow in neon bluegill or summer sexy shad and a 1/16th Ned rig with a trd in Canada craw or the deal. The past 30 bass or so I've caught id say 23 to 25 have been on one of those two.

In south Florida our water temps now are almost 90*.  I agree with you, fish early or late in the day.  Also night fish if you can stand the mosquitoes.  Bass are either buried in the thickest cover where there is lots of shade and lots of little critters to eat, or deep hugging drop-offs and ledges, where the water is a little cooler, still close to thick cover.  They will go back and forth from one to the other.  Tough time to fish here, have to slow down and almost hit them on the head to get bit!

This time of year in Michigan middle of the day is my best time to find fish.  However, I have never seen the water warmer than 84 degrees.  Punching pads, and t-rigging works. In the past I’ve done good on spinner baits and cranks.  I’ve not been on a crank or spinner bait bite all summer though
