Flat bottom or Mod-V jon boat ?

I take my flat bottom to any freshwater I want to fish. The rougher it is the slower I travel. I'm sure the mod-v helps but in a small aluminum it still gonna be rough on plane. They're light and sit on the water instead of cutting thru the water like a heavier boat.

Thanks. I'm leaning toward the Mod-V, but if I find a good deal on a flat bottom I may get that.
