garroyo130 Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Anyone have any recommended reading? Books I have read and enjoyed are: Spoonplugging In Pursuit of Giant Bass Joe Bucher's Crankbait Secrets Anything along the lines of these books (which I consider books for intermediate fishermen) would be great. I second "In Pursuit of Giant Bass". It took me awhile to find a copy though. 1 Quote

Super User MIbassyaker Posted August 2, 2020 Super User Posted August 2, 2020 The In-Fisherman Critical Concepts series (3 volumes on Fundamentals, Location, & Presentation) Knowing Bass by Keith Jones (if you can find it for an acceptable price, or check it out somewhere) Lunker by Bob Underwood -- Underwater observations of bass from 1700 hours of scuba diving. High-Percentage Fishing by Josh Alwine -- statistical analysis of factors that do (and do not) relate to big fish catches. This topic pops up a lot around here, and as a book fanatic myself, I love these threads. Some previous threads with tons of recommendations: 3 Quote

looking45 Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 If you want to read about the early days of bass tournaments and BASS, check out BASS WARS, by Rick Taylor. Lots of insight to Rick Clunn. 1 Quote
