I don't know anyone locally, though there must be someone that can.  Maybe @clayton86 is willing?  He builds his own.

Last time I had guide work done, is was around $20 + cost of materials per guide.  That was 20 years ago, and he's passed away since.

Call him and ask.  I used to get $25 + parts, unless it was a really quick fix for locals.  I don't do this anymore.

Where is that guy Brian that you listed above from?

The rods (ugly sticks) and reel (Shimano Snycopate) you mentioned cost almost as much as what it will cost to repair them. In other words for a few bucks more you could buy a brand new rod or reel for what it costs to repair them.

Doesn’t sound like that’s an option for you though, sorry.

I'd just dig up the money somehow and replace them. The GX2 is what I call 'break-toss' rods. The labor charge would be about the same for those as for a NRX or Xtasy. Even my Aird-X rods I'd replace in case of breakage instead of repairing them.

Well a few things

every store has nothing left

the poles have sentimental value

thought replacing a line roller would cost $5

The guy said the reel repair would be cheap

The guides have cracks in them and are fraying the line so maybe I could pay someone fix it or you guys would have a cheap solution

I do it myself at home we don’t do repairs at runnings. Was it you who emailed us asking they reached out to me the other day saying a guy did.
