Super User gim Posted July 28, 2020 Super User Posted July 28, 2020 Bluegill chatterbait, white spinnerbait, hollow body frog, Zman tube, senko wacky rig, and an XPS shallow crank in hot craw. I recently went fishing at night for the first time in years and it was highly successful. I intend to go again soon. For now it looks like the searing heat/humidity has drifted south because the 10 day forecast shows nothing but low 80's. ? Quote

Hook2Jaw Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 I finally have faith in the spinnerbait. ⅜ Booyah Blades in Perch, Chartreuse&White. They have been absolutely slurping worms for me. 7½ YUM Ribbontails in Watermelon Black Flake. ⅛ for grass and ¼ out of the grass on a 3/0 Lazer Sharp EWG. During the heat of the day, between 11-3 or so, I've had success dropshotting a YUM Sharpshooter wacky rigged in Morning Dawn and Watermelon Black Flake. ³/¹⁶ dipsey sinker and a size 1 hook. Quote

walleyecrazy Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 I've mostly been dusk/night fishing lately. With that in mind my go to's have been the Spro Rat, Black spinnerbait with single Colorado blade, Strike King Thunder Cricket, and a Zara spook. If I hit the water a little earlier I have also been throwing my Golden Belt Customs Harvester a lot, and have had good success with that. Quote
