Hi Guys, I need some help here please. I have 2 Lowrance units (7Ti and 9Ti) and a Garmin Striker Plus 9sv. If I buy the NMEA network starter kit, can I join all 3 units as a network? Are there other things I would have to buy? If this is possible would my maps on 1 unit show on all 3?

Thanks for all of the good help and info. all of you contribute.

Basically - the answer is no. Garmin and Lowrance use different proprietary software.

MN Fisher, First of all thank you for your input and referral. I read the link as you suggested and I think I understand things somewhat better. I guess I thought if I installed a NMEA network, then all 3 items would receive the same info.

I guess now I will connect the Elite 7 Ti and the Elite 9 Ti2 together and keep the Garmin Striker Plus 9sv as a stand alone unit. Then I will at least have my Mercury Vessel View data on my smart phone. Do you agree with this set-up?

I'm not that qualified to answer. I just know a bit about networking different operating systems together - former Network Specialist for a multi-national. A quick Google Search came up with that link.
