It's not easy to throw on a heavy frog rod. I want to like it but seem to struggle with long casts even on mgl reels. Maybe It's just not the frog you use for long casting

I use a MegaBass Perfect Pitch with a Tatula Elite and get plenty of casting distance.  Much further and I'd be worried about effective "setting the hook" distance.  I do fish out of a kayak though and can get up close and personal to my target spot when needed.

Booyah Pad Crasher and Popping Pad Crasher. I believe the Popping Pad Crasher walks more easily and makes a little more disturbance on a mat.

I have upwards of 40 something frogs. I throw the same 3 90% of the time. Pad Crasher in Bullfrog, Albino Frog or Ole Smokey.

Same here. Except I don't have 40. I only throw 2.

I picked up one of these in 3/4 oz recently. It's a shade over 3/4 and casts like a bullet, and also walks great. The frog bite has been slow here though, so I haven't gotten bit on it yet. How's the hookup ratio been for you? It's plastic is pretty stiff.

Had to bend the hooks out just a touch but hook up ratio has been really good. It does cast terrific too.

I throw my Kaera’s on a mag heavy Powell Endurance and I can get quite some distance on it.

Jackall Kaera/Gavacho also the Megabass Big Gabot if I feel like throwing a larger profile frog. All easy to walk.

Teckel sprinker and h20 express popping frog have both called up the biggest largemouth I’ve hooked in a while last summer so I will say they are my top 2. Unfortunately I lost both fish at the boat after long fights and several jumps. Not the frogs fault though

I thought I was going to be original. Nope. Sounds like I'm using them because they work! Pad crashers!! Popping and walking. Black for muddy water and low light, leopard for anything else for me.

One thing though, the Booyah Toad Runner has the worst hookup ratio out of any lure ive ever used. Put a pad crasher back on and nail em every time.

Live target has a bad rap for some of the other baits they make. I took a chance and bought a few of their 65 frogs, bent the hooks out slightly, and trimmed the legs, and they work great. I'll be getting more of them and pad crasher's.
