Super User the reel ess Posted July 23, 2020 Super User Posted July 23, 2020 This was a truly senseless murder. According to the sheriff it stemmed from some sale of a vehicle that the killer thought he was owed for. If you kill someone they can never pay you. And this trash has killed two additional people and dragged two others who apparently were not criminals into his crime. He has ruined 6 lives, not to mention the families of the victims and his two accessories. I looked the woman up on Facebook. She has two small children. 1 Quote

It stemmed from our lack of a justice system. Sometime in the last 20 years, criminals became victims and the victims of their crimes were thrown under the bus except for the most heinous crimes. A guy like this needs to have his skin peeled off with a potato peeler and rolled in salt and vinegar before he gets the chair. Same goes for pedophiles. Crime and violent crime is spiking all over the country in urban areas because of recent events. My brother, may he rest in peace, could have murdered someone without blinking an eye. Almost killed me a few times when I was a kid. Not on purpose. He just didn't know any better because he was born r e t a r d e d . He spent 2/3 of his life in institutions and group homes. We no longer lock up the mentally ill, just medicate them, and hope the medication works. Brother has been deceased almost 20 years. This guy had 15 felony convictions that stuck in 13 years I think the video alluded to. Did not a bell ring in someones head that maybe this guy has problems? I made a comment earlier to flyfisher that only a few here on BR have knowledge of. Now you all will know. My grandsons father was a piece of....He's dead now. Died the week before Easter this year. Court system and his mother enabled his behavior and because of that, my grandson who just turned 3 last week, will grow up without a father. He medicated himself with fentanyol and heroin. It would bore you with all the felony charges and court continuances over the last 2-1/2 years and the child custody BS. It tore our family up because the courts saw him as "Not such a bad guy" While drugs were not an issue in the above case, mental illness was. 230 charges in 12 years and no one in the justice system saw a problem??? People need to be held responsible for their actions. 6 Quote

I thought you believed the murder was over a truck. I just reread your comment and you were repeating what the sherriff said. I believe the murder was the direct result of a failed justice system. Elected and appointed officials should be held responsible for their lack of judgment. Every official that let this guy skate over the years should be locked in a room with the family members of every man and woman he has harmed. 1 Quote

I'd like to know what his convictions were for. Right now, sheriff's departments aren't even putting people in jail for anything that's not violent due to COVID. And they're letting people out of jail and prison early. That helps the inmates not get sick but has a complete opposite effect on society. Also, it seems the prosecutors don't throw the book at anyone anymore in order to ensure a high conviction rate. Quote
cheezyridr Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 the judges who continually let this scum out of prison instead of locking him up long ago, as a habitual criminal, are every bit as responsible for the the deaths of those 3 men as the man himself. one of the the truly sad parts of this is, there will be no consequences for them. there needs to be a system put in place to remove those people, and the law makers who enable these situations, to face consequences. at the very least, it shows that we need to: be more involved in local politics excersize and protect our 2nd amendment rights recognize that the things that allowed this to happen are part of a deliberate plan to destroy this country, and take the necessary steps required to put a stop to it. we all lead busy lives, but it should be painfully obvious by now, especially considering recent events in the news, that we ignore these things at our own peril. i grew up with 2 people who are/were much like this. one of them did 30 yrs for sodomizing another man with a stick and leaving him for dead. (at a local bass pond, coincidentally) when he finished his sentence, he went right back in less than a year. the other guy was never caught, but destroyed himself with drugs and died a couple months ago. 1 Quote
