Well after many float tests we decided that less wood was better, so we only decked the front portion.

We also decided not to put in carpet but rather use 3 coats of sealer on all sides of each pc. of wood.

We painted the inside/outside with ppg mettalic silver to match the truck.

We then added a Minn Kota Endura 40 TM,and my old Magna 3 depth finder.

Extra wires were run for future radio and other gadgets. All the wires were run in the ribs of the floor then sealed over with silicone. The transducer was ran in the side rib and siliconed in place.

Instead of buying BPS' removable transducer bracket @ $37.00, I made my own from a spring clamp and some aluminum channel $7.00.

HEY WE ALL GOT A LITTLE TIGHT A** IN US!

I also recently bought a trailer for $50 that also will need some work, but I ain't scared!

Looks nice.

What is that you used for the transducer. I have been searching for the same type of thing for my jon boat. Please give me some instructions on how you mounted the rod to the clamp. Thanks.

CFFF, That is a 5/8 pc of aluminum channel that was self tapped to a big spring clamp that I bought from Lowes.

I just cut it to length then screwed it to the clamp and ran the wire through it...It's 2 pcs.

Then the transducer is just bolted on at the bottom!

Looks Great. You have come a long way from the first picture.  Great helper you got there.
