Super User Jimzee Posted July 27, 2008 Super User Posted July 27, 2008 Good job on the boat. Looks great now. Quote
AaronH Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 Really nice job, looks like a new boat. I would clean up the wheel and take a rattle can to it then your all set. Quote
Olebiker Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 You've done a good thing, my friend. I hate to see a boat allowed to deteriorate. I watched a neighbor's Stratos sit out in the weather uncovered and uncared for years before he finally sold it. Quote
ROOKIE02 Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 NICE WORK! TOO BAD I CANT DO ANYTHING WITH PAINT W/OUT SPENDING SOME BUCKS. CLEAR COAT WAS SUN BURNT CRISPY Quote

njpaulc Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 First of all, that looks closer to a fullmake over than a partial. Secondly, how's it run? It looks really great. Quote

Black Bass Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Very nice. How much time do you have invested in it? Quote
BassMaster_17 Posted August 27, 2008 Author Posted August 27, 2008 Very nice. How much time do you have invested in it? Around 24hrs total to this point here, i got the front deck extened now (will post some pics soon) and that took abt 10 hrs of here and there work i never got to just work on it solid probably could have knocked it out in 8hrs of solid work. Total hrs are around 34 hrs total not bad considering the condition it was in when i got it. Quote
ArcticCat500 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 hey BassMaster_17, There's a product out there call Vertglas Gel Coat Restorer that will absolutly amaze you....this stuff is worth every penny you'll pay for it. The wife and I purchased and old Hurricane Deck Boat several years ago and came across this stuff at a local marine store, made the purchase and went home and went to work. The process will take you a weekend but the results will make your boat look brand new. BTW...You did an awsome job. Quote
BRIAN77703 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 wow i have to get me some of that, my boats all faded. was it hard to re-carpet all your panels. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted March 28, 2009 Super User Posted March 28, 2009 Nice job, looks great. Only after you have tackled one do you realize the work that goes into it. A labor of love. Quote
