I had a bronco.  That thing doesn’t even resemble a bronco.

I kind of like it..not that color but I like what Ford is doing with the Ranger and the Bronco. My F150 is 20 years old..so I'm looking at the new Ranger.

I had a 1984 Bronco. Had a 351 Winsdor. Had 26k miles when I paid $4k for it in 1991. Wife got it in the divorce.

I have a 2017 F-250. I got a 2020 Ranger as a loaner when my truck was in to look at some corrosion on the running boards. Had the Ranger for 2 days. The Ranger stickered for $4k more than I paid for my SuperDuty. Whatever engine it had in it had some pep to it and the 10 speed trans shifted smooth as silk. As far as the rest of the truck...meh.

Only experience I've had Jeeping is doing the Rubicon with my brother in his. I saw bigger trucks - one brand new - destroyed trying to wiggle between boulders in a few spots. For that trip I would use a Jeep.

If Ford and Chevy would bring back a full-size 2 door version of the Blazer and Bronco, they would sell like hot cakes. No idea why they took both of them and put them on small crossover type bodies.

Sales impressions. The sales mavens think that people looking for greater efficiency will equate smaller size with greater efficiency ..... whether the specs bear that out or not.

I think there are many people who put ride comfort, safety and reliability before efficiency. In today's carbon-crazy world, those people are painted in a very poor light, to say the least.

Efficiency is the new power word, like it or not.        jj

To me it looks more like an updated Toyota FJ Cruiser. IMHO, there’s only one Jeep

Plenty of full size SUV's on the road today. Chevy could even use the Tahoe platform, make it a 2 door, change the front end and interior and call it a Blazer and sell plenty of them. I guess I just don't understand using the Bronco and Blazer name and making something totally different.

There's something magical about a Jeep.  They break down all the time and leak oil in the driveway like no other, yet they have loyalists, enthusiasts, sorority girls, and suburbanites that buy them up at a rapid clip.  My prediction is these go the way of the 'reborn FJ Land Cruiser' that came out a little more than a decade ago.  Bring back the International Harvester Scout!  50 years ago that had Dana 44s front and rear and a transfer case that was the envy of all Jeepers.  We had one to pull tine harrows and hay rakes to keep the hours off our tractors.  It was a beauty in the eyes of few, but I'm not sure I don't prefer it to this Bronco.

I wish Toyota would bring back the FJ Cruiser.  I thought it was a great sportsman vehicle.

Looks like a wrangler and and Toyota FJ cruiser had an illegitimate baby.

Nobody is going to top wrangler sales but everyone wants a piece of the pie.  it isn't a coincidence that jeep released the wrangler with a Hemi possibility on the same day....

The new Rangers are 10-12K cheaper than the F150s in the 2020 model. Or at least, that's what I saw walking around the dealership..depending on the packages.

Mind you I said stickered. I paid 10k under sticker for the SuperDuty. My son bought an 18 or 19 F150 and that was more than my truck, but he's got the bells and whistles. His stickered for 52k i think.

not sure on the semi one but the current 4 door wrangler is 3500lbs with the 2 door being 2500 I think.  The hemi option isn't slated for production or anything yet they just "leaked" it more or less via concept car
