Super User Spankey Posted July 13, 2020 Super User Posted July 13, 2020 I’m heavy industrial equipment repair as my job. Since March it’s been tough to get parts in a timely fashion. Some of my sources are spot on as far as delivery others are way out of line. But we are going through some crazy stuff in this country right now. Some places that you would normally call and have a dialog with them are not taking it and ordering online is the only way communication exists or is non-existent. But BPS is not in a good way right now. I know others that are not getting their stuff timely even if it is in stock. BPS has gone way downhill since the ‘80’s and ‘90’s. The COVID is effecting all establishments. But BPS is not what it use to be. Quote

It was at my front door in five days via DHL. They are fantastic and you cant beat their prices Quote
jbrew73 Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 I placed a tw order this morning and it shipped this afternoon. You can’t get any better service than that. 1 Quote
Johnbt Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 This tube was completely broken in half. They sort of tried to tape the two pieces back together with a wrap and a half, but it was still flopping around when it was delivered. Our mail lady drove it down the driveway to the house and suggested that I open it while she waited. The Conquest 844 was not broken. And it's still going strong. 2 Quote

Blaze orange baseball hat 2. One package of Neko weights 3. One package of Wacky rig weights 4. One package of Owner snaps They are coming in four different packages on four different days...........per the four tracking numbers........lol This happened to me as well a couple months ago. I ordered a Revo SX combo and some Sufix 832 braid and two packs of finesse worms. From Basspro. Three different tracking numbers lol. Still received all three packages the same day as per tracking. 1 Quote
Johnbt Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 "They are coming in four different packages on four different days" My wife had wanted a can of Campbell's Cream of Celery soup for over a month because she wanted to try a new recipe. The local stores didn't have any - and still don't fwiw. Anyway, I tracked some down at walmart.com, but they would not sell single cans, only 4-packs. What the heck, send me two 4-packs. We got one can from West Virginia and then the next day we got 7 cans from North Carolina. I understand that deliveries are swamped, but sometimes it's just too strange. _________ To keep this boat related, I needed a $24 crimper to make some 8 ga. battery cables. Instead of driving 30 minutes to the nearest Home Depot and 30 minutes back, I ordered on line and had them send it. The blister packed crimper came in a box big enough for 5 or 6 twelve packs of beer and had about 30' of wadded up brown paper to keep it from rattling around. And they shipped it from Wisconsin to Virginia. Strange times indeed. Quote
