Rbunton87 Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 What lures are y'all worried that could be discontinued in the near future? What current baits are on the short list that could be the next hot bait we see go? Quote
ABart61 Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Senko......Just kidding?. I love the Powerbait Pro Twitchtail minnow dropshotting. A lot of the Powerbait Pro line has gotten discontinued last year. The problem is they advertised it as a walleye line of soft plastics. Selling soft plastics to walleye fisherman is tough. Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted July 10, 2020 Super User Posted July 10, 2020 Chatterbaits would be on my short list. Other than that without seeing sales numbers I have no clue what could go. It is all about sales for companies. If there was one lure type that is pretty specific to bass fishing and not widely used by many it would be jerkbaits. So maybe some of those could go? Quote

Rbunton87 Posted July 10, 2020 Author Posted July 10, 2020 I always buy up DT 6 and 10s in good colors. I know Rapala sells a ton of them, but that would be a line of lure I hate to see go. Also Spro hard baits! When theirs a pros name tied directly to a bait seems things could go bad if they severed ties. 1 Quote

Now as time has passed I have plenty of spares of my more productive ones. Not a boat load of those colors but enough. They are all productive. They all have caught fish. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted July 10, 2020 Super User Posted July 10, 2020 Fat Raps are still being produced but I never see them anywhere . Quote
