GTR Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Anglers, Hope the summer is treating you well. I am stuck in southern cali for about a month on a work project..My boat and all of my rods are on the east coast. How do I take advantage of fishing what I have heard are the best lakes in the country - out here in california? Ideas, tips or trips: I appreciate your response! Quote
Super User WRB Posted July 9, 2020 Super User Posted July 9, 2020 Suggest going out on a charter boat fishing local yellowtail, albacore, yellowfin and blue fin tuna. The boats have everything you need. Fishing SoCal bass lakes with east coast knowledge doesn't work well. The lakes are clear water deep rocky structure unlike anything back east. Look into hiring a guide to learn the ropes and have a enjoyable experience. The guide will have everything you need. Tom Quote
