DBinPA Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Allright guys, im looking for some options........Since my boat stays in the garage and i never take any of my tackle out of the boat, im looking for some options on how to secure my fishing rods during transport. I have everything else(Oars, batteries and tackle boxes) secured. I really dont want to drill into anything, so im thinking of putting a strip of velcro on 2 of the benches, buying 2 Berkly (4 rod) holders...then putting velcro on the holders and then securing them to the benches during transport. What do you guys think and how do you transport your rods? By the way i have a Lund WC14 aluminum boat. Quote
koko36265 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I have two Rod Saver straps on each side of my front boat deck. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_13322?cm_mmc=froogle-_-100-11-7-_--1-_-38-538-147-00&hvarAID=46KY&mr:trackingCode=C11ED51B-D317-DE11-9E3C-001422107090&mr:referralID=NA You would have to screw down 4 screws but they are small and it does a good job..
