Super User scaleface Posted July 8, 2020 Super User Posted July 8, 2020 You are lucky . My son never took an interest in any outdoor activity except snow-boarding . Quote

Super User islandbass Posted July 9, 2020 Super User Posted July 9, 2020 Nice. My kids don’t fish with me anymore. One lost interest and the other is too busy. But we have our memories. Nice job keeping him in. Quote
skekoam Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Very cool pic. I can't wait to do the same when my son is older. He's only 10 now so we have time to catch a big one still. Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted July 12, 2020 Super User Posted July 12, 2020 Thats a blessing! My middle son has gone with me regularly for 29 years now... This is his biggest bass. 2 Quote
TcRoc Posted July 12, 2020 Author Posted July 12, 2020 Thanks for all the kind words.. it’s still tough.. the youngest comes out with me more since we got the kayaks.. my 22 yr old I still tell him get your license and lets go.. I think he’s embarrassed of having to learn at 22., heck I’m still learning after years . Hopefully he will get past it and give it a shot.. I think it would do him good as he over thinks everything.. go out and relax .. learn and clear your mind.. does me good going out and turning everything else off for a couple hours. Quote

Topher89 Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 So I am 30 and I thank God I have an amazing dad. He taught me to love the outdoors. I hope I do half as good as he did. Here is my little boy on our first trip. 2 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 27, 2020 Global Moderator Posted July 27, 2020 My youngest just really started going this year at 3. He didn't get started as young as his older brother since he's not the only child. My oldest is a seasoned vet now at 6, started him out when he was 2. One of his first trips, given me the play by play on fighting this monster bluegill. And a few weeks ago with one of his biggest smallmouth he's caught, and one of the biggest of the day. The youngest with his big catch a couple weeks ago, he still tells anyone who will listen. All I care is they have fun when we go out. I do my best to make sure they're having a good time whether it's catching fish, playing in the water, or going fast in the boat. 5 Quote
