Super soft and hand poured, the tail is super active at any speed even deadsticking, it will consistently out produce other similar style worms especially culprit originals 5 to 1 and sometimes the more than that.

I don't have a horse in this race (any more), but I kinda wondered why no one mentioned Rage Tail Anaconda.       jj

Well sir, I can only speak for myself, but I usually prefer a worm profile to be slim, slinky, and slithery, with good buoyancy and a tail that moves as effortlessly as possible.  With that,  I’ve found that the fish seem to also prefer that same profile most of the time as well.  Guess I just dont find the Anaconda to be a good fit.

All of them, maybe? I like Culprit, Berkley Power worms, the Zoom mag II, as well as various ribbontails whose names I have forgotten by Creme, gambler, Charlies worms, BPS...

But my favorite is the Mister Twister Thunderworm, currently out of production ...a meaty 6" with a gator-style tail. It's old model that goes away and comes back every several years.

My selections echo this almost completely.  I don't fish the Mag II.

The Zoom Ol' Monster and YUM Ribbontails do work for me.  The Ribbontail smashed it so badly last night I was in the "this is main lineup during the summer" mindset.  I was fishing the 7.5" and the big ones would simply pull it up, the dinks were on a rip slash kill fest.

2.99 for 12 of them, one simply can't go wrong.

Use to be the Culprit but they have been hard to find for quite some time. Mostly a Zoom guy these days. Can’t go wrong with a Berkley 7” Ribbon type tail worm.

While we're on the ribbontail worm topic, I'd like to hear how everyone rigs theirs in addition to their choices.

I typically Texas rig my YUM Ribbontails with ¼ lead and a 4/0 offset round bend.  I'll go down to ⅛ if I'm wanting to stay on top of grass but that typically means I'm on a medium powered rod.  I have also fished them deep with a ½.

I like to fish Ol' Monsters on a heavy Texas rig, ¼-½ and with a 5/0 offset round bend.  I normally string those up on a heavy rod.  I also like to Carolina rig them with a ⅜-1oz with the same hooks.

I've been wanting to try them out on shaky heads, I just haven't gotten around to it.
