I'm back to night fishing and next time I want to mark a couple of spots off-shore . I tried glow sticks taped to buoys once and that didnt work , the line kept tangling up in them before it reached bottom . Have any of you ever tried  glow in  the dark tape on a buoy ?, or have any other ideas ?

For catfish jugs we put a cheap glow stick inside. Maybe there’s some kind of reflective or glow in the dark paint?

Gave my buoys away. Pull up the chart, troll into position and hit on the Minn Kota 3/4 of a cast away from my waypoint. I had reflective tape on a couple buoys and even with a weak headlight you had no problem seeing them. Goodluck.

They make a glow in the dark paint that's clear during the day and glows at night. I've only seen it used indoors to make designs on children's bedroom ceiling. Not sure how well it would hold up outside. Probably find it at Wal-Mart or a craft store.

Bright green camping glow stick works. Tape it your bouy or make a simple bouy using a plastic drinking bottle with cord and weight.

Use orange buoys & q-beam that way claim jumpers can't see em.

Yes GPS & spot lock are awesome but not everyone has the budget or in my doesn't wanna waste the .money.
