If it's throwing up a big wake it's most likely located too deep. I doubt if you have a transducer problem in the sense that it's defective. I meant that when my little aluminum boat had to go over six foot waves at 40+, there was a lot of force being put on that transducer. I adjusted it to it’s original position, and it worked again. 1 Quote
