Walmart, dicks sporting goods, even tackle warehouse the list keeps going on, can't even buy a pack of Zoom chunks for my jigs on tackle warehouse because everything is out of stock, was very fortunate the other day to come across a couple bags of senkos still left at my local walmart, every thing else has been absolutely wiped out and hasn't been restocked because it's not deemed "essential"

What about you guys? Is trying to restock on tackle becoming a lot more harder now? I fear for the worst once I run out of stick baits...

TW has tons of Zoom Chunks in stock.

Part of the issue is the shelter in place , and mandated closures which stopped production. Second is more folks bought licenses and fished, since many had more free time, and got tired of being cooped up.

Local mom and pop stores are your friend right now. Most casual folks wouldn’t bat an eye to the smaller shops before the virus issues and therefore they are more attuned to going to the bigger box stores and wiping them out. My local shops have everything I need. No need for the bigger stores.

Most local stores have been cleaned. One of our Walmarts which is usually the best stocked one had literally 4 or 5 spools of line and that was it for line. Most of the lure section was empty, and the rest of it was pretty barren. I haven't even tried Dick's since I heard they were cleaned out too, but I purchased a ton of KVD Ocho plastics, Berkley Power Worms and Netbait Paca Chunks, the only other thing I am low on at the moment is Keitechs and my Z-Man TRDs from last year melted so they are all funny shaped, but in the ponds I'll be fishing at the next few weeks when camping I probably won't get to do too much finesse fishing due to weeds anyway.

Tackle Warehouse has been very good at getting stuff back in, but even they're more sold out than usual.

Ebay man, have not had any problems getting supplies during the lockdown from online stores on the Bay.

Bingo. I haven’t had a problem finding what I want on eBay. I’m even finding some of the more obscure colors that the big box stores don’t usually carry.

I am normally able to find most of what I’m looking for locally at one of three stores within 20 minutes of my house: Cabelas, Dicks, and Fleet Farm. Cabelas was wiped out in April already but some of their stock has returned now. Dicks often has sales but usually not the items your looking for. FF was always poor about re stocking but has been especially bad recently. They musta had 20 pegs for senkos the other day and 2 of them had stock.

i generally don’t order a lot of items online because I don’t have to. I have done it more often this season but I don’t like paying for shipping and I have also experienced delays.

A lot of components come from overseas so supply chains had disruptions. Plus manufacturers lowered production. Plus there’s 40% more people fishing this season in MN. All those items combined make for finding what I often need more difficult.

The off the beaten path places still have decent tackle selection. Might pay a little more.  But, other than that your kinda stuck ordering right from the MFg if they are open.

Went to Walmart to get somethings for my wife and decided to check out the fishing department as I needed some fresh 8-pound fluorocarbon line.

Wow! Gone!!! Only line available was the Zebco and Big Game. So I picked up a spool of 8-pound Big Game.

Hooks and sinkers were gone, too. Hard baits were hit hard and the plastics were hit, too.

It was like the bread and milk shelves in grocery stores when a hurricane is on the way.

This year has been the time where I have seen the most people fishing so it makes sense that it is hard to find fishing tackle in stores. Fortunately I have found everything I needed online.

While the tackle selection in my area Walmart's isn't pristine, some restocking has occurred.  Last Wednesday I got 5 packages of the new Berkley Flute worm - which looks like it has potential for kinda finesse pitching.   Walmart gotten a BUNCH of Creme stick worms.   I collect stick worms (senko imitators) just on general principles, so I got a half a dozen bags - one of each color they had.   They also had some 4" Powerbait paddle tail minnows, which with a little trimming make great spinner bait trailers.

Rogers Lures in Liberty, MO - my favorite tackle shop has gotten some stuff re-stocked - or maybe they found stuff in the back room - I don't know.   I got a large bag of my favorite Big Bite Baits stick worm - Tilipia - for pretty reasonable, and those baits weren't on the shelf last week.   So I think that things are getting a little better - choice wise - for fishing tackle around where I live, anyway.

There are deals to be had on eBay right now on brand new lures.  Just have to be patient

If you want plastics, go to Bitters.  They make just about any plastic you can want and I've actually gotten next shipping.

Owosso super Walmart has pretty much been totally restocked on baits. Especially soft plastics.  They are also now carrying Ozark trail soft plastics. I never knew Walmart had thier own brand of soft plastics.

also has some reels in but, still lacking in that department.  Ton of 40-60 dollar bai caster rods.  Only thing they don’t have are the cheaper spinning combos

TW is a good spot to check out, sale probably knocked inventory down some, but they will build stocks back up. I tend to build up large stocks of the lures I use and terminal tackle and extras as well. I'm down to just needing a reel and rod.....and of course I never have enough line :)

I can't even get hooks or sinkers at my local Walmarts.

Thankfully, I can fish for years with all the gear I have.  I'd run out of things but I'd have a half dozen other lures that I could use.
