today me and my brother did a "senko only challenge" basically we only brought hooks and senkos and in the first 3 minutes my brother landed a bass. In the few hours we managed to catch about 30 dinks and my brother even managed to catch the biggest bass we have ever caught out of the pond. We used bass pro 4 inch stickos that were recommended to me by people on this website so thanks for telling us about them?

My motto is “If you can’t catch a bass on a Senko wacky rig, you can’t catch a bass”.

Its my go-to when nothing else works.

It’s a lot of fun. I’d rather be catching bass by pitching jigs into thick weeds but wacky fishing is more fun

Heading up to a lake my family has property on this weekend. Gonna try out the wacky rig finally after a long hiatus.. (weightless texas rig senkos are better IMO as of now)

Wish me luck guys!!

Also, it's a good rig for beginners, surprised that some of the tournament guys on here bash it so much..

One of these days I'll try a wacky rig .?

It would get stuck where you like to throw

I've never caught a fish on a wacky rig. Or a senko for that matter. If I can't catch them power fishing I'd rather leaver. As finesse as I get is a Shakey head.

I haven't used the wacky rig much but I never even got a bite when I did. I would much rather throw them on a Texas rig.

I don't consider fishing a wacky rig or senko 5"+ finesse fishing...

If you don't slow down and do some finesse fishing up here in the Northeast, you would get skunked more than not.

All I fish is the n.e seeings how I live in Ohio. We fish some of the most pressured body's of water in the state. My slowing down is slow dragging worms and flipping finesse jigs.
