ABart61 Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Bassmaster.com has released a slideshow of some items that were to be debuted at ICast. A few highlights..... Rapala DT flat remake with a new name and different bill (OG Slim) Tungsten 2 Tap version of the KVD 1.5 Frog/popper Hybrid called the Berkley Power Pop Magnum size Zoom baits Big Bites BFE (Best Flipper Ever) looks like the cult classic Berkley Devil Spear Profile with creature bait appendages. Super User Cgolf Posted June 30, 2020 Super User Posted June 30, 2020 I have to go look now, I thought I have some SK 1.5 and 2.5 rattling SBs. They make it sound like they weren't made? If they are rare I may be able to let them go for the right price;) Quote
RichF Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Who's excited for the one battery to rule them all?? $3000........I gotta get a new hobby. Seriously though, we spend way too much money to catch bass. Quote

The rattling ones from bass pro you are refering have a traditional bb style of rattle. 17 minutes ago, RichF said: Who's excited for the one battery to rule them all?? $3000........I gotta get a new hobby. If they could find a way to manufacture it cheaper. Its market share would explode. Quote
Dirtyeggroll Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 I like the idea of the Plano Edge Flex box. 1 Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted July 1, 2020 Super User Posted July 1, 2020 Lew’s KVD reels look nice. 1 Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted July 1, 2020 Super User Posted July 1, 2020 The Norman Speed N looks like I need 5 or 6! The Rapala slim looks interesting too. The smaller Frittside may do it for me as well. Already bought 18 of the Booyah XCS 200 SB and they catch them just like the Xcalibur version:) and also have a couple of the Rapala V Blades. No fish on those yet. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 1, 2020 Global Moderator Posted July 1, 2020 The Zman Menace, er uh, Goat Series, looks good. The BFE and Midside brush hog are both gonna be in my boat I'm sure. Pretty underwhelming otherwise. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted July 1, 2020 Super User Posted July 1, 2020 I'm curious how that Arashi Swimmer performs vs a triple trout or Bucca at a fraction of the price. Crazy that the Veritas is already up to a 3rd generation. My daughter loves the gen 1 6'9" spinning rod but I'm not sure I'd ever buy another Abu rod. Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted July 1, 2020 Super User Posted July 1, 2020 Saw nothing that interested me. I'll stick with what has worked in the past. Quote
JoePhish Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Couple of the new DT colors struck my fancy, Chartreuse Rootbeer Craw and Citrus Shad. Like the midsize Zoom Brush Hogs too. Spearpoint hooks look interesting but I probably won't replace what I use now. Quote
Megastink Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Lews: https://www.lews.com/2021NewProduct Strike King: https://www.strikeking.com/new-product-showcase Diawa: https://daiwaproductshowcase.com/#animate-1591923906699 that’s all I’ve found besides Bassmasters article. Follow up, the Ned Rage Craw looks AWESOME! Quote

Super User fishwizzard Posted July 3, 2020 Super User Posted July 3, 2020 That lithium battery is the most exciting thing I have seen so far, kind shocked they didn't follow the current trend and stick "Ned Rig" somewhere on it. Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted July 3, 2020 Super User Posted July 3, 2020 Seeing what others like is always interesting. The rage Ned craw does less than zero for me, especially knowing it will be 6.99. Even cheaper I wouldn’t go near it. I know others can’t wait:) Watching the Strike King video I found a gem for northern WI waters with the KVD J100 Jerkbait. That thing should be money for me next year. I will also pick up 2 of the Lews KVD reels, one low ratio and one high ratio. Quote
Brayberry Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 I'm excited for the SK KVD J100 JERKBAIT and the Bed Rage Craw. I think that thing rage craw will be a killer on a bitsy bug sized jig Quote

I saw that ZMan bait and it was pretty obvious what they were imitating but they're version is definitely uglier. It's probably a dollar cheaper per pack than Menace grubs and hold up better though. coachfozz Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I really like the fluoroshield line from Berkley. nice price to give it a try 1 Quote
