Yamamoto has the Swimming Senko (4") and Yum has the Swimming Dinger (4") and both look like the would be great swim jig (chatterbait as well) trailers .

The big difference is price as the Swimming Senko is $4.50 more per package than the Yum Swimming  Dinger ...  *Has anyone compared the two used as swim jig trailers ?  Is the Swimming Senko worth $4.50 more per bag than the Yum Swimming Dinger used as a swim jig trailer ? ...Thanks for replies for those who tried  !

Try the A Walker on your swim jig in the 100 size.  It is a little stiffer and has a nice, tight wiggle.

Haven't compared them, but that is basically the same question as any other Yamamoto soft plastic vs. the YUM or ZOOM equivalent. Yum & Zoom work pretty well, are tougher, and are dirt cheap. Yamamoto plastic has more action, are remarkably fragile compared to competing plastics, and are more expensive. I used to stick to Yamamoto plastics on the theory that i wanted to pay for the best and I'd rather catch that one extra fish every 25 casts or whatever it might be, but as time has moved on, I've realized I'd rather have a single bag of plastics last me a year or two instead of having to go buy a new $7.00 pack of senkos every two fishing trips.

But I'd guess any feedback you'll get will be the same. You maybe catch more on the GY, but we'll never be sure because tis fishing and you can never directly compare really anything when your success or failure is defined by what got a particular living organism to bite a lime green piece of plastic.

My opinion: I can understand there being a difference between Yamamoto and Yum/Zoom on wacky rig and weightless t-rig. But as a swim jig trailer, I can’t see the difference being near what the price difference is.

I have and do use both, with that said I catch a lot more fish with the Dinger before the bait needs replaced. But I do personally prefer the Swimming Senko.

Swimming Senko is now $7.49 per bag (TW) while Yum Swimming Dinger is $2.99 per bag ... The Swimming Senko must be that good then .
