kayaking_kev Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 I don't know why but this one looks a little different to me and it fought like a smallie and I also caught it at a place where there's a lot of smallies and LM are rare. It's probably just a pretty LM, but I wanted to ask anyway just in case. Here is a link to the full video, it was the 4th fish I caught after the small bluegill tried to eat my squarebill that was half its size. I've only caught one LM before this trip at this place, but caught 5 during this one and a lot of people I talk to have never caught a LM out of there. The fish in question is hooked at about the 11:40 mark into the video. Quote

Super User WRB Posted June 28, 2020 Super User Posted June 28, 2020 Dorsal fin is connected and scales on the tail indicate this fish maybe a Spotted bass hybrid. Tom Quote
