Do you use one? Which is good budget, not too big and don’t care much for water resistant. I just need one that fit for phone, Vape small jig boxes or 2-3 packs of plastic.

Look into chest packs and slings. I got a cheap one from Academy for those times when I wade the inshore flats for redfish and trout.  The added bonus is that the chest packs and slings sit higher on your body, so less chance of accidentally getting a phone wet

Thanks I was considering that too. I don’t really bring a lot of tackle with me, just one setup and small box of jig, plier and a couple bag of plastic. The most important thing is my Vape lol and it might not be as convenient if I have to grab that from behind. I have go pro on my chest sometime.

I’ve started using a draw string bag/backpack the last couple of years and it works really well. They’re cheap, light, you can clean them really easily, and a 3700 footprint box fits in perfectly. There’s also room for a few bags of plastics, and whatever else you want to throw in. If I’m in the water, whether it be wading or kayaking, the phone and other valuables go inside the 3700 box, inside a plastic bag. Very low tech but it’s quick and easy.

A fanny pack works but i like having a bag that is secured over my shoulder.  I bank fish a ton and I just use really small tackle bags.  Cabelas makes the one I use now, the quality went down when BPS bought them out but they call it a catch all bag I think.  Plano makes a small one too that isn't bad, you can find them at wal mart.  You can fit a surprising amount of gear in them if you need to.  I fasten my boga onto the strap clips and if they dont have clips I just find a spot to attach a carbiner and use that.  If im wading I thread the strap trough my pliers sheath. I strongly recommend using lanyards for your boga and pliers.  I tie or pin a towel on the bag to wipe slime off my hands.  I would suggest a water tight plano for your phone if its not water proof.  When im wading I use my back up mod and tank so if it does go for a swim its not a big deal

Field and stream used to make some targeted tords the fly fishermen I don’t know if they still make them but they held a decent amount of stuff a box and enough for your plastics so you don’t have to carry a backpack. I just put a a couple bags of plastics in my pocket and a pack of hooks when I hit the ponds but never know when you need just a little more stuff so a good fanny pack is a good idea for packing light.

this is normally I carry beside my phone and my vape (geekvape solo waterproof), or sometime a few bags of plastic and a bag of terminal tackle when bass fishing. I usually don’t wade as deep but those water skiers are killing me with wave that can get up as high as my waist. Fall or spring is fine since I can wear my breathable waders, but this time of year I go down with short cargo pants. I carry everything in my pants pocket but once awhile I would drop some bags without knowing it until I got home.

I do have fishing backpack and I do have small vape with lanyard (lost Vape Lyra) but I’d rather buy something cheap but more effective.
