3/0 or 4/0 Gammy EWG.

I do toss a 1/0 Gammy EWG every now and again, as well.

Make a senko last a little longer.

I tried skip-gap hooks to prevent flukes from riding back in cover

They didn't work...and it's tough getting past that unsexy shape

They work great for me, the threading part just takes a few times to get the hang of, nothing to it after that.

Grammy EWG in either a 2/0, 3/0, or a 4/0 size.

Not a fan of EWG hooks for worms and prefer straight round hooks like Owner 5301 and Gamamkatsu 484, size depends on worm diameter, larger worms 4/0 or 5/0. Trying out Owner Twistlock light 5167 4/0 and 5/0 with good success.

I'm with Tom. Worms get a straight-shank off-set hook, 2/0 or 4/0 depending on the diameter of the worm. EWG hooks are for when I T-Rig larger baits like Berkley Pit Boss, Missile D'stroyer or SK Rage Bug.

Owner Twist Lock 3/0 or 4/0 have always done well for me.

The hook depends on the technique and the plastic I'm putting it in, but I prefer the Trokar EWG hooks. For the baits you mentioned I'd probably be throwing a 4/0 and if the worm was over probably 8" I'd bump up to a 5/0.

On an 8 inch Jelly worm I use a 3.0 offset hook . Its all the hook that diameter worm needs . Smaller worms , smaller hooks . Caught 35 on that combo yesterday . The hook was a VMC .

I use straight shank or offset round hooks most often. For 4" worms size 1/0 or 2/0. For 6" worms and bigger, size 3/0.

3/0 or 4/0 round bend almost exclusively.    I just can’t seem to get good hooksets with ewg hooks.

*What are you using for the larger Strike King Bull Worms / Zoom Magnum Trick Worms ? ... I can't decide between a 4/0 or even going up to a 5/0 EWG or 5/0 offset round bend for the big straight tails ?

Owner Twistlock/CPS, mix of light and regular depending on the situation...mostly whether it is finessy or regular, line diameter, etc. Twistlock lights in 2/0 and 3/0 are sharp and thin enough that a reel set will do just fine.

If I need a really heavy hook, then Owner Beast.

*I like the Owner Twistlock / CPS hooks - I believe they run1 size smaller than listed , so possibly a 4/0 or 5/0 for the SK 8" Bull Worm ?
