So my on board battery charger bit the dust after 15yrs. of service. (RIP it served me well). I’ looking to replace it with a three bank charger as I had been charging my cranking battery separately from my 24V trolling motor batteries.

I’m looking for recommendations for one that charges each battery individually so I don’t have to disconnect the jumper between the batteries every time I plug it in. I found that my batteries would last a season more, or longer by doing that with my old unit.
I’ve been looking at the Pro Mariner Pro Sport 20+ Gen 3  12/24/36volt. I’ve run into conflicting reviews on this unit as well as the Minn Kota Digital

Any first hand reviews would be a big help in decision making.    Thanks

I don’t believe any chargers are 100% reliable. I had a Pro Mariner for two seasons before it crapped out. I’m on a Minn Kota now. I got it mostly because it fit in the space I have in my boat. Never found one brand that had overwhelmingly positive reviews.

Dual Pro has served me well.   They’re made in Tennessee....like me.  ?

I went with a couple Minn Kota. "Precision" series. They are a little pricey but small if you have mounting space concerns. I have the 2 bank and it's half the size of the same spec charger in the digital series.

I have the Minn Kota 330PC. I'm on my 3rd season with it, which isn't real long but I've had no issues with it at all so far. Is way lighter and smaller than others. Doesn't take up a lot of space.  I'm happy with it.

Dual Pro are good too! I've had a few and never had a problem with any of them.

I just bought a MK330PC for my boat.  Right now it has a ProMariner ProMar1 10 2 bank, but I needed a 3 bank as the battery tender I had for my starting battery wasn't cutting it after I upgraded to a 24v trolling motor and was using the 2 bank for those batteries.  We'll see how it works when I install  it next weekend.  I looked at the ProMariner ProSport 20+ but it's too long (16") to fit in the space I need it to fit.  The MK330PC will fit perfectly where I need it.

I ran a Promariner 20 amp 3 bank gen 3 for almost 2 years before it started acting up, a quick call and over the phone troubleshooting got me going temporarily, there is an issue with the charge mode selection cap on some of the units. It was still under the 2 year warranty and the tech noted I had called about the same issue earlier when it acted up for the second time. A new gen 4, HD 20 amp 3 bank was sent out the same day as my call.  This new unit comes with a 3 year warranty. I was disappointed my unit died in under 2 years but support was excellent to deal with and they stand behind their product.

Get yourself a Dual Pro and call it good. I'd recommend either the pro or sportsman series.

My Dual Pro is similar to A- Jay's but our aluminum boats are a bit different. ?

The used boat I bought 3 years ago, and it had a ProMariner 3-bank charger in it when I got it. I also bought a 2-bank unit for my Dad about 3 years ago. No problems so far with either unit.
