Is this a trick question? ?

Finally was able to be on a lake last Monday that actually had pads and mats. Its been many years that I can recall where myself and a friend laughed and had such a great time fishing.

Frog fishing was everything I was hoping it to be, and more ??

At times in the past, the Harris Chain water was so murky that top water lures didn't work that well.  I always did well on top water in other Florida lakes.  Now that the lakes have cleared, I started fishing with frogs.  I'm hooked!   Frog fishing is more fun that any other way of bass fishing I've ever done.  I'm getting so I don't want to catch bass unless it's on a frog. So far, I have had my best luck on a Gambler Cane Toad.  It kicks up a lot of action and is fished more like a buzz bait.  Those natural looking frogs look good too.  I'm dying to try one.

The toad bite is on here . My next trip I plan on getting on the elec motor only lake before the sun rises and get to the less fished upper reaches before daylight . Theres a big one up there just salivating for a juicy toad .

LOL at the people who wait for summer to bust out the frogs. I was catching 6lbers on them in 50 degree water whilst y'all were farting around with jerkbaits.

Yep, those first warm stretches early in the year around the winter dead grass, pad stems, newly emerging grass clumps, those big girls will be up super shallow and suck a frog down like a trout taking a dry fly.

I do have it on video!  I haven't edited/uploaded it yet.
