Eddie101 Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Is it still the best bang for the buck? Do you prefer 2500 over 3000 or vise versa? My understanding is 3000 has a faster gear ratio, and also comes with a bigger - better? - handle which is pretty cool in my book. Thank you for your input in advance! Quote
Matt_3479 Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 I know everyone has there own opinion so take it for what it’s worth. But I’ve had and fished 3 different nasci’s and each one has been flawless! They get hard use, little cleaning and stay incredibly smooth and just flat out preform. Highly highly recommend them 1 Quote
thunderblack Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Nasci's are sweet for their price pt. I have a 3000 and buying a 2500 too. Great for inshore too. 1 Quote

Super User jimmyjoe Posted June 19, 2020 Super User Posted June 19, 2020 I got the 1000 size for use on a ML/F rod. It's been great. IF I needed another new 2500 size (which I don't), I wouldn't hesitate to get it, even tho I hear that it's based on the Sahara platform, and the Sahara is just as good in fresh water. Either way, it's a win-win situation. jj Quote
