I recently acquired a Shimano Calcutta 200 via ebay. On the underside of the reel foot it has 92 with RH. Am I to assume it was made in 1992 and its right hand reel. The only problem I found upon dis-assembly was the idle gear was missing a tooth. Only slight corrosion on the inside of roller bearing and the anti-reverse bearing. Are there any upgrades to this reel that would improve its usability. Thanks

I am guessing this is the silver 200A.  I would clean it from top to bottom, replace the idle gear, soak the bearings, re-oil/lube, check the bearings to see if they are bad, and replace (probably) the spool bearings and the drag washers.
