Caught this guy last week. Sadly I didnt have a scale with me. What do yall think it weighs?

Hard to say, but I'd guess around 5 lbs.

I'd agree...somewhere around 5 or maybe just north of that. Nice one anywhere no doubt.

Thanks for the feedback guys!  I was thinking in the 5 ballpark. Already bought me a scale to tote around with me so it doesn't happen again lol

That bass appears to be in the 5 pound range. Next time measure the length and girth and you can use the following formula to get an estimate weight; Length X Length X Girth / 1200 = Estimated weight in pounds. You can also get a decent scale to weigh your bass.

I understand anglers may not have a scale or ruler with them when they catch a nice bass. Every angler has fishing line and can easily cut a piece equal to the length and save it.
