Super User Hammer 4 Posted June 12, 2020 Super User Posted June 12, 2020 Hard to say, but I'd guess around 5 lbs. Quote
Super User Bird Posted June 12, 2020 Super User Posted June 12, 2020 That's a good fish.....I'd say a solid 5. Quote
Super User DitchPanda Posted June 12, 2020 Super User Posted June 12, 2020 I'd agree...somewhere around 5 or maybe just north of that. Nice one anywhere no doubt. Quote
Zachbass11 Posted June 12, 2020 Author Posted June 12, 2020 Thanks for the feedback guys! I was thinking in the 5 ballpark. Already bought me a scale to tote around with me so it doesn't happen again lol 1 Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted June 12, 2020 Super User Posted June 12, 2020 purdy fish -5-6 pounds. Welcome to the forums man. Go to introductions and introduce yourself to everyone. Never mind. I think you already did. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted June 13, 2020 Super User Posted June 13, 2020 Nice Bass ~ You could always utilize the Official "I Don't Have A Scale" Calculator Find it here A-Jay 1 Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted June 13, 2020 Super User Posted June 13, 2020 That bass appears to be in the 5 pound range. Next time measure the length and girth and you can use the following formula to get an estimate weight; Length X Length X Girth / 1200 = Estimated weight in pounds. You can also get a decent scale to weigh your bass. Quote
Super User WRB Posted June 13, 2020 Super User Posted June 13, 2020 Not agian! Length X Length X girth /1200 = wt in lbs. Do You know the length? Tom Quote
Super User RoLo Posted June 13, 2020 Super User Posted June 13, 2020 Very nice bass, I'd go 5, Tops Roger Quote
Ppennin986 Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 It’s a nice catch that’s for sure it looks closer to 6 Quote
Super User WRB Posted June 13, 2020 Super User Posted June 13, 2020 I understand anglers may not have a scale or ruler with them when they catch a nice bass. Every angler has fishing line and can easily cut a piece equal to the length and save it. Tom Quote
