Could’ve sworn some of the cities in California had floating bathrooms out in the reservoirs which I found to be convenient

Reminds me of some joke my grandpa told me 30 years ago about folding 1 sheet of toilet paper.

Is that the one where it ends with saving the last tiny bit being used to clean under your finger nails?

Not an option on the lake I fish. The entire shoreline in the area I fish is developed one way or another. From million+ dollar homes to parks to ritzy dining establishments and exclusive country clubs.

Only option I'd have is to go to one of the launches and use the porta-potty set up there...and hope it's close enough to make it.

This got me tickled, I could imagine sitting down to a nice meal and look out to someone dealing with a struggle. LOL!

Ive had a bass boat from 16-48 and a kayak the last 9 mos. I don’t think #2 has ever hit me while fishing and I have a rough stomach. Always hits me in traffic.

I have a buddy that’s 6’9” and over 300#. When we fishing on my boat once and it was cold outside. He had on insulated coveralls. I had to let him off at the bank once and he came out of the woods and there wasn’t a single pocket left on those coveralls and he wasn’t wearing socks.

Nature calls, how do you respond to that? #1, Ok it's doable but for #2 - I mean, where can you go?

Come on man....... you honestly are asking for advice on where to poop?? Haha. This is a daily dilemma for dogs.........I feel it is much more difficult to turn on a computer and log on to a forum and ask the question than to figure out where to use the bathroom..... hahah.  But to answer the question, I hit the bank in times of emergency

Knock on the door and ask if they’d rather have it in the flower beds or in the toilet ........

I'll make the trip back to the ramp if possible, if not I carry TP in the boat and do some hiking until I find an acceptable leaning tree. Nothing brings you in touch with nature quite like it.

And flies.......

Don't crap in the water man! If you can't use shore...

- Bring a nice thick plastic grocery bag or similar.

- Lay it on the floor. Or a bucket, whatever.

- Squat and dump. This is actually a great position to completely evacuate your bowels.

- Clean yourself however you wish. Or not at all, what do I care? Jump in the water for this part, just no logs please.

- Pack it ALL out with you.

I’ve never packed THAT and hope I never do. If mine is more harmful Than that from a beaver, raccoon, deer, possum, skunk, hog, otter, then oh well it’s staying right where I leave it

People do and are required to pack out their own excrement in some very remote places. Went Jeeping at the Rubicon once and everyone had hefty bags dangling from their jeeps, packing out everything, including their own waste. Those are the rules there. There are very good reasons for this.

Also, stepping in raccoon crap wouldn't bother me nearly as much as some big fat human's pile. And where does the toilet paper go?

Besides I mentioned crapping in the water, and most of the animals you mentioned do not do so either. We have bigger brains, surely we can do better.

And yes it is more harmful than animal waste....

This isn't a very big peeve of mine at all, but littering in general is. If I happened upon a human pile while bank fishing I'd be pretty disgusted. Sometimes you gotta go though - bury it at least and don't leave any paper behind, or simply stay home.

I do better 99% of the time but the 1% can stay in the woods. Raccoon roundworm is not something you want to step in

Don’t know how or why that posted six times. LOL! When I hit SUBMIT it said saving but did nothing. So I backed and went to another thread. Didn’t show and now it looks like I stutter.

I have a very active digestive system so I very regularly need to do the old hang off the side of the boat, some of the best poops of my life. I’m not joking when I say this but multiple times while up north I’ve had yellow perch come and, while, “hit” the sinking material I had to get out of my body.

Don’t pee off the side of the boat! I carry a cutoff Clorox jug for that.  As to #2, I carry a package of baby wipes—haven’t had to use them yet, but they’ll sure come in handy if ever needed.

This reminds that years ago while night fishing one guy needed to do # 1 . I handed him the Clorox bottle half and told him to help himself . Being it was dark we didn't see that the cap had fallen off . It went in one way and out the other .
