Bluegillslayer Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 I was recently browsing their website and their "multi species" section caught my eye. Its filled with mostly grubs and shad baitfish imitations and im kind of interested in their 3 inch single and double curly tails and their curly tail minnows. Are these baits any good? Are they made by a reliable company? Thanks. Quote
PourMyOwn Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 For what it's worth Al Lindner's show speaks highly of them. Quote
Jleebesaw Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 I have used the curly tail grubs a few times for walleye and smallmouths. They are ok. They are quite common with walleye fisherman. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted June 11, 2020 Global Moderator Posted June 11, 2020 BBB is one of my favorite plastic companies. Haven't used their grubs and panfish baits but no doubts they're good too. Quote
Hook2Jaw Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 The Cane Thumper is probably my favorite paddletail. Big Bite Baits makes great stuff! Their shakeyheads are good terminal tackle, as well. 1 Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted June 11, 2020 Super User Posted June 11, 2020 Our Academy has a good amount of Big Bite Baits. I've used the 2" grub for crappie, and a 5" ringtail style plastic worm for bass. Good products Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted June 11, 2020 Super User Posted June 11, 2020 Their squirrel tail worm is one of my favorite baits. 2 Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted June 11, 2020 Super User Posted June 11, 2020 They make good modestly priced stuff. They are right up there with Zoom, Yum, Berkley, NetBait, etc..... in terms of quality and bang for the buck. A few of their offerings are unique and have served me well over the years. I really like the cane stick, came thumper, and the yo' daddy craw. The squirrel tail stuff has also been very good, but very unforgiving around tail nipping panfish. Quote

Yes they are good baits and yes they are a reputable company the dean Rojas warmouths are great baits for bed fishing they have a lot of good plastics underrated and inexpensive as well. Quote
Super User DitchPanda Posted June 12, 2020 Super User Posted June 12, 2020 I really like the 5 inch finesse grubs as a cold water swim jig trailer..the chunk jig trailers are pretty good...and the 4inch creature is just as good as a baby brush hog and a 25 pack is only $5 Quote
Ogandrews Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 The smallie smasher is one of my top dropshot baits, incredible action great profile and good colors. I know a lot of my walleye friends use their stuff too with really good success. Quote
Beeno Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 I think Michael Neil won 50k today on heavy hitters with a 9 pound bass on a big bite baits cane thumper. So I would say that yes they are decent baits. 2 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted June 13, 2020 Global Moderator Posted June 13, 2020 The Swimon is an awesome bladed jig trailer too. I always forget about it for some reason but then I open my box and see about 20 baits that have them rigged up as trailers ? Quote
LCG Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 I recently purchased a 100 pack of 4" Yo mama's and a 100 pack of 4" Creature baits. I love the value, the baits are soft, and the scent is not off putting. Can't wait to to put them to work in 2 weeks when bass season opens. I can foresee these baits in my regular rotation. Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted June 13, 2020 Super User Posted June 13, 2020 I use their stick worms and catch fish. I like their 6 inch ones. That size is hard to find with other brands. Also do very well with their craws in pumpkin. And you cant beat the price. Quote
Mr Swim Jig Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 I use Big Bite Baits for bass and panfish, they are great baits... Quote
