I purchased this mixed 12 pack Thursday and have been enjoying ever since with the last (4) one each chilling in the fridge for later on. All of them are excellent but these 2 are the standouts in my opinion. Top one is Zombie Ice double pale ale and my favorite Backmasking oatmeal stout.IMG_0251.jpeg.21f1ea80449d52e2062b09dafce42349.jpegIMG_0246.jpeg.2a633eb56b8b3d46cd51969113e8d448.jpegIMG_0241.jpeg.4f29f9d0f43f9f315db68f883004a957.jpegIMG_0240.jpeg.e189b57d7905eb37de4e58da20848ab5.jpeg

Lienenekueegelel is alright, too much beer taste for me. I drink to feel things... I drink way too much for normal people just so I can remember what it's like to feel feelings. I prefer liquor and soda.

My wife likes beer

I was sober before I met her

7 years sober

Now I'm 8 years drunk

I like fireball, rum, vodka, whisky, double hard seltzer, and honestly if my only chance to drink is what you have, even red wine, I'll drink it! It's not that bad. It's okay. It's fine. I'd drink gasoline if it's all you had. Let's be friends.

Tonight, it's hard cider that's rather tasty with caramel. Double hard seltzer after that, and either more cider or triple jam cider to follow up.

I try to limit my drinking to weekends haha

Looks interesting, based out of WI. I had another really good WI rye, Driftless Glen. WI is doing some good whiskey stuff.

Lot of WI bourbon to make a pass. I'm not a fan of Wisconsin clear whiskey as of late.

I’m too old for that but I’ll have one or three beers , your quote about meeting your wife is hilarious

I can barely drink two drops of red wine, don’t know why but I just don’t like it

Hit up my local Hyvee liquor today and actually had a good haul. I typically don't like Hyvee because they are usually pretty pricey, but I rolled in and they had just done a big mark down on alot of their whiskey selection. 1st bottle I scored was Michters single barrel rye, a personal favorite of mine. Normally between $45-$50 around here...they had it for $39.99. 2nd bottle has me really excited, Sagamore double oaked rye. Its normally $60-$62 around me, they had it marked down to $41.99. I've never had it but I've heard a lot of good things, first whiff and it smells delicious.... Maple syrup and burnt marshmallow. Gonna have me a pour shortly.

You're the guy that got me buying multiple bottles of the Michters and visiting their distillery so please let me know what you think of the Sagamore (is it worth retail $) since you and I seem to like the same stuff.  And in relation to that, have you every had Roulette rye?  Retail is $24.  I can find it on sale as cheap as $18 sometimes.  It's outstanding for the price.

I've never tried the roulette, in fact I've never seen it here. The sagamore did not disappoint. Has a good amount of coconut and maple brown sugar sweetness but the extra oak plus higher rye gives it a nice char note and a good amount of spice, also there's a slight dill flavor and maybe even a menthol like thing going on. The finish lingers for a long time but I didn't get overwhelming spice, heat or any noticeable ethanol hit- just a nice slightly oaky finish.. I'd say its definitely worth retail, had I known it was this good I'd have bought two at the price I got it for. If you don't like it I'd be very surprised.

That's sounds very good.  The bourbon/rye-monkey is worse for me right now than the bait monkey. Thanks for the info.

If you try it let me know what you think. And I agree...I haven't spent much on fishing gear this year...whiskey on the other hand.

You'll be proud of me. I just polished off the last bottle of the case of miller lite I bought back around Memorial Day.

@12poundbass @Jigfishn10 fireball and cream soda is like a liquid cinnamon bun...

A quick shot of fireball and Rum Chata is like a hot cinnamon bun. You and your wives have been warned...

It's freakin delicious

Anyone who enjoys beer in the Chicagoland area knows Revolution Brewing. I will say they are fresh😃 Also was gifted a 4 pack of “S’mores Pastry Stout” from Goliath Brewing Co. by a co-worker who doesn’t like beer and it was given to him. All I can say is WOW it’s SWEET with a pour similar to Guinness in that it doesn’t open up and leaves very little foam head. I definitely can only have 1 of these and the other 3 are in the fridge for when the mood strikes.

I'm not a beer drinker so it doesn't matter to me. Miller Lite or Spotted Cow for me. I drink Guinness when it is an ingredient in something I am cooking. I like Hacker-Pschorr and Blue Moon but there is too much work involved in slicing the citrus fruits.

@TnRiver46 I’ve never tried Narragansett Lager let alone even seen it for sale near me but after a quick google search I’d give it a shot as I do enjoy a good Marzen brew.
