If Murphy's isn't available - then ya, that'll work.

I'm a fan. Murphy's draft will stand up a spoon in the mug, I really enjoyed Cork, and green eyed brunettes with alabaster skin are what Sailor's dreams are made of...

We got some eagle rare this summer at buffalo trace (again), it’s like $35 but you can only get one

Awesome timing with that recommendation. I've heard it's a good sipper if you can find it around msrp (apparently there's a pretty big secondary market), and as I was walking past the liquor section on my way to grab some bread at the local grocery store today this puppy happened to be sitting in the case. Won't be cracking it open this weekend, but its time is coming...

You're more of a Kessler or Canadian deluxe kind of guy eh? Hahaha

Whiskey is highly influenced by anything you've eaten or drank prior.

I love sampling whiskey side by side and you can really get an understanding of them. If you have a bottle of Buffalo and eagle rare, taste the Buffalo,  eat a saltine cracker, than taste the eagle. The eagle really has a lot more going on it. An those whiskeys are identical mash bills, just different aging process and select barrels.

Yep, if you're really lucky they'll have a bottle of blanton. We stopped in Buffalo trace this summer hoping to find a bottle. No luck of course. I talked to a lady she said it typically sells out in the first few hours sometimes the first 10 minutes

Dang, that combination would have been worth taking a trip out to Tennessee ?

Switched up my weekend evening sipper tradition for a coffee old fashioned tonight. Storm is coming in and the wife is wanting to watch a Hallmark Christmas movie... going to need some help staying up for this one. :xmasicon_biggrin:
