I have whiskey stones and I have the round cube ice tray. Round is supposed to melt slower. Regular ice is convenient.

I can't get away from the Michters single barrel rye. Its easily my favorite whiskey right now by a long shot. I'm not a huge drinker now days but I went thru a bottle in 2.5 weeks. Its dangerously smooth and delicious.

I had some of their small batch bourbon last night. Always a enjoyed pour.

Also been sipping on some Jeffersons, and a cheap bourbon called Ancient Age. It is the same mash bill as blantons.

Saved my arm today.

I am enjoying a smoky martini.

1/3 oz blended scotch (Dewers White Label was in the house)

2 2/3 oz dry gin (Malfy Gin)

Shake, strain and serve with a twist

Went back to an old favorite that I sometimes forget about. ER is just a solid mid-proof bourbon that always hits the right spot.

Christmas present. I'm not a wine guy. I've had good wine. This is average.

Had one last night before dinner. I like em. I like the Summer Ale as well.

I find myself gravitating to Ales more than beer for some reason.

I just picked it up today. It's no better or worse than any type of cream liqueur. Would taste fine on the rocks. A customer and I were talking bourbon today and he sidelined to this. 1 part bourbon cream, 2 parts rootbeer and about an ounce of whipped cream vodka. Taste is pretty darn close to a rootbeer float.

True ale is beer, but without hops.  Oddly, these days ales have more hops than anything else, and are synonymous with beer - i.e. India Pale Ale (IPA).  There are a TON of brewers making bad ales out there.  Just being bitter isn't enough to set you apart. Look at New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, Naked Dove, Great Lakes, Southern Tier for some good examples of modern ales.  NB Voodoo Ranger Juice Patrol is one of my current favorites.
