My first time having it. Was a gift from one of my customers. Not too shabby. I generally don't drink scotch. I like it better than Glenlivet or Glenfiddich. Way better than Dewars.

My wife went to their distillery in Scotland a couple years ago when she was there on vacation with friends. She said it was a “wonderful place”, and they had a pretty good afternoon of “taste testing”. Brought a couple bottles back, I even got a nice shirt from them as well ?

Canadian Mist and Coke Zero.

It was on sale for $11 with a $3 rebate. Couldn’t pass it up. It’s like most Canadian blended whiskey’s , basically brown vodka.

If you like coffee this stuff is absolutely fantastic.  It is made here locally and I was mixing it with some cold brew.  It is also great with some simple syrup.  I am gonna have to go pick up some more next week.

Tomorrow is an optional holiday for us. I was going into work so I could switch out Friday for an eye appointment in the afternoon. Was told not to worry about it so it’s Martini time.

My first Italian Gin:image.thumb.jpeg.92d68c755623d0767372808b12fe607f.jpeg

Not as “botanical’d” as a London Dry and not tasteless as vodka, it’s really more like an infused vodka if that makes sense.

This would be a great summer gin Rickey or gimlet.

On the wagon for a bit. Nutrition has gone MIA on me and it’s time to shed the added holiday pounds.
I’m looking to run the annual July 4th 5K race up at my house in Maine this year. I haven’t done it since 2016 so I want to lose a few more pounds to keep the drumsticks (knees) happy.

I can't get away from the Michters single barrel rye. Its easily my favorite whiskey right now by a long shot. I'm not a huge drinker now days but I went thru a bottle in 2.5 weeks. Its dangerously smooth and delicious.

Ever try whiskey stones, or do you prefer a little water from the actual cubes?

I got my parents a some whiskey stones a few years back and I’ve never remembered to ask them what they thought.
