While prepping gear the night before heading out I was in the mood for an iced coffee or beer. Guinness said why not have both.

Friday was grandmas birthday. We hosted a party with the kids, their other halves, and the grandson. My daughter requested mojito's. NEVER AGAIN!!! Too much work involved for a crappy drink. The girls said I made them very good. I thought they didn't taste any differently than the new canned seltzer/alcohol drinks that people are buying. Had 1 mojito and switched to bourbon.

My dad makes a pretty good Bloody Mary. He gives it a kick by adding a jalapeño wine.

Didn't know there was a jalapeño wine. I like Clark & Sheffield mix and just add a little A1 sauce.

I didn’t know there was such a thing either until he made a Bloody Mary for my wife one time and put a shot of it in front of me. A little bit goes a long way.

He and my stepmom are big wine people now and found it on one of their wine tours.

I am salivating just looking at the picture.

Had a half bottle of Red Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon wine tonight. A nice way to unwind from last week before the new one begins.

My first go at 4 Roses. Good stuff. In my top 5 for <$30 bourbon.

Still have a good amount of 12 year Glenmorangie. After neatening up everything around the house, yard work, doing laundry, and cooking bacon cheeseburgers, with home made bacon, that I smoked yesterday (glazed in salt, maple syrup, brown sugar & the whiskey, smoked with apple and hickory), which all basically means I made bacon cheeseburgers that took 2 days to make—I’m having another ounce or two of the whiskey right now.

Finished tightening some bolts on my TM after hitting a log last week. Such a PITA to get under the electronics and wiring under the bow, my arms are all cut up from edges down there.

Feeling like I will kill off this bottle after that clusterF.

Got into “collecting” whiskey about a year ago. Was super excited to find this. Looking forward to sipping it on the back patio soon.

Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel... not sure why the uploader rotated it. ?‍♂️

What does that have to do with removing pests? You are working too much!

Haha! I was on vacation all week! I’ve got plenty of irons in the fire. I wouldn’t exactly call it work, I help my buddy Jon some weekends at a paddling rental shop in Knoxville . You could catch smallies off a paddle board Kent!

Seeing as its my Bday today and memorial day I probably should have a big old glass of bourbon. Just not sure I have room after 2 big plates of scalloped potatoes and ham and a piece of Butterfinger cake.

I used to drink Natty Light, I got tired of the toilet paper Christmas cards thanking me for their business. ?

Nice way to wind down the workweek with a solid summertime beer that was brewed about 30 minutes from Tackle Warehouse.
