Going back to what turned out to be an enjoyable mixed twelve pack for the kickoff to playoffs weekend ?8976D7E1-E7A3-4CC2-8BEB-E1A1B634EA90.thumb.jpeg.15596bcc8223f99d0a3398b7a6aaf504.jpeg

Took my parents out for a nice steak dinner tonight. Had 2 Bombay sapphire gin and tonics...bartender had them mixed perfectly.

By no means great, but being a "local" distillery on the east side of the Sierras gave it a lot of bonus points.

Last night's sipper for a coffee old fashioned with some orange bitters. Have to say it was a nice surprise.

Well yesterday was a little out of hand. Buddy's wife was out of town so we grilled and drank basically all day. Must have paced myself just right because I have no hangover after way too much Jameson.

I've actually got a pork butt smoking for carnita tacos. I love a good paloma...what's your recipe?

Gotcha. I've ever tried squirt...I usually use Simply Grapefruit juice, lime, tequila and some club soda. Squirt would be a nice change.

Squirt is a staple in the Mexican community. The shelves are always empty around here. I can travel a few hours north into WI and they don't even carry Squirt at the grocery stores. Have to settle for Sprite and grapefruit juice.

I've passed by this one on some road trips and had to give it a try. My bourbon palette is still in its infancy, but I thought it was really solid and it'll be in my weekend sipper rotation.

I’ve picked this mixed 12 pack up in the past, I somehow remember them being a little better. Going to have to check the dates on the packaging.2515071D-CE03-438D-B9DE-0B9F105094E6.thumb.jpeg.4440d275b6dbc5dc0c355481e50a4c06.jpeg1234B899-9B1D-4A18-BBF9-CEC141142CB6.thumb.jpeg.c9dce946ad6457d3a10a3dfc6c1a7b6a.jpeg

First time having anything other than their entry level bourbon. Have to say I'm a fan of this cask strength!
