The party got moved inside. Drank lots of beer . The girls started drinking cheap wine and I joined in . Thats about it . People were playing washers , so I got my rod out of the corner and started pitching a spinnerbait into the bulls eye . That awed everyone . A few people tried but all they could do is backlash it . I think I invented a new game . 3 Quote

Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted July 25, 2021 Super User Posted July 25, 2021 The big jar is 160 proof corn liquor. That's what I prefer to be sipping on. The middle jar, is apple pie moonshine. Its Everclear mixed with apple cider, apples, and cinnamon. Then left to soak for 3 or 4 days. It's especially good warmed up first, and some whip cream on top. The pickle jar on the right is my current drink. It's the last of what my buddy mixed up last night. It's sweet tea and a everclear herbal extract. It is extremely delicious. 1 Quote

I don’t know if you’re from Alabama or just moved there, but that jar on the left tells me you’re fitting in nicely either way. That was legal currency down there not many years ago!! Quote

Yep, that's usually an Uber ride home. 1 Quote
CrankFate Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 Been going with this recently. Less than $40 a bottle. Reminds me of my younger days of rum and coke or rum and anything else. Perfectly light for summer. Doesn’t make me hot. But that might be because I’m down to no more than one night per week. And half as much as usual. Or less. Need to shed another 10 lbs. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted August 21, 2021 Author Super User Posted August 21, 2021 I've had their scotch before. Had no idea they were also in the rum business. 1 Quote

I’m surprised rum barrels could add so much sweetness and wonder if it’s just sweetened. But it tastes like the sweetness of rum, not added sugar. So I don’t know. 1 Quote
