Thinking I may do a glass of 100proof old forester bourbon after supper tonight. Haven't had whiskey for a while...been drinking to much beer. Gotta get my priorities straight!

Watched the firework show then   a thunderstorm hit immediately after . The party got moved inside. Drank lots of beer . The girls started drinking cheap wine and I joined in . Thats about it . People were playing washers , so I got my rod out of the corner and started pitching a spinnerbait  into the bulls eye .  That awed everyone . A few people tried but all they could do is backlash it . I think I invented a new game .

The big jar is 160 proof corn liquor. That's what I prefer to be sipping on.

The middle jar, is apple pie moonshine. Its Everclear mixed with apple cider, apples, and cinnamon. Then left to soak for 3 or 4 days. It's especially good warmed up first, and some whip cream on top.

The pickle jar on the right is my current drink. It's the last of what my buddy mixed up last night. It's sweet tea and a everclear herbal extract. It is extremely delicious.

I don’t know if you’re from Alabama or just moved there, but that jar on the left tells me you’re fitting in nicely either way. That was legal currency down there not many years ago!!

Born and raised down here. In some places around here, I think it is still legal currency. Lol!

My friend makes apple pie. Usually have it at a Super Bowl party.

Yep, that's usually an Uber ride home.

Been going with this recently. Less than $40 a bottle. Reminds me of my younger days of rum and coke or rum and anything else. Perfectly light for summer. Doesn’t make me hot. But that might be because I’m down to no more than one night per week. And half as much as usual. Or less. Need to shed another 10 lbs.

I've had their scotch before. Had no idea they were also in the rum business.

It is Scotch, aged in rum barrels.

Yes, it’s good. Light on the usual scotch flavor, but has all the sweetness of rum. Great stuff for the summer. I’m surprised rum barrels could add so much sweetness and wonder if it’s just sweetened. But it tastes like the sweetness of rum, not added sugar. So I don’t know.

Outgrown the place and cashing out. Mrs. 12poundbass dog grooming business could triple or quadruple if people would come to her which they said they will. Plus the G3 needs a bedroom!
