bassheel Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Where do you shop for tackle online? We all know about TW but is there another site that may not be as popular that you use or recommend? Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted June 7, 2020 Super User Posted June 7, 2020 FishUSA - they have a bigger selection of Rapalas than TW, the prices are good, and the shipping is fast. I've gotten about 3/4 of my crank and jerkbaits from them as well as other items. 2 Quote
Glaucus Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Whatever I can't find on TW, I can usually find on Fish USA. Quote
MountainMan83 Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 For enthusiast offerings stateside, The Tackle Trap cant be beat. I've picked up a few things from Carolina Fishing Tackle recently as well. Overseas, there are dozens of great retailers. For strictly lures, I'd just check a bunch of other sites classified forums for great deals. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted June 7, 2020 Super User Posted June 7, 2020 Simmons Sporting Goods on Ebay as well as American Legacy. Some others.... Asian Portal Fishing and Samurai Tackle both out of Japan but shipping can be hard to deal with since Covid 19. Quote
JLewis134 Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Mainly baits or rods? My local tackle shop has more rods than any retailer I have ever seen. Quote

Super User PhishLI Posted June 8, 2020 Super User Posted June 8, 2020 Carolina Fishing Tackle. Cool JDM baits and more. Rock solid communication and fast shipping. https://carolinafishingtackle.com/ Quote

garroyo130 Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Amazon. I add stuff to my cart, save for later and periodically check prices. What I'm looking for is anything "Used, Like-New" sold by Amazon. These are new items with damaged packaging. You can get huge discounts on these. Quote

I see their prices as a bit high? Got the new rapala v blade from bass pro a buck cheaper a bait. Am I missing something? Quote

They also offer some things you don't see everywhere. For the majority of my bass stuff I use Tackle Warehouse, siebert outdoors and skirts unlimited. But I do shop fishusa for ice fishing and panfishing gear. Quote

Maybe enough to justify an order some day;) I have been to Thorne bros out of MN a few years back and thought they had a nice store, mainly musky though. Have never ordered from them though. Quote

Super User dodgeguy Posted June 8, 2020 Super User Posted June 8, 2020 Doesn't bother me as long as they catch fish. The reels and rods aren't blems from what I've seen. 1 Quote

Thumb bar was stuck in the down position and wouldn't return when the crank was turned. Sent it right back. Quote

I have gotten all five of my BCs, three of my five Spinning Reels and six of my ten rods through Amazon - the rods were drop-shipped from others. Everything has arrived in perfect condition. 1 Quote
Super User RoLo Posted June 8, 2020 Super User Posted June 8, 2020 After TW & BPS, I'll poke into 'Sportsman's Outfitters' Roger Quote
RichF Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 I've gotten good deals from TackleSupplyDepot, Scheels, fishingonline, and tackledirect. Quote

I've never had an issue buying anything new, just that one and only time I bought the Fuego as a return in new condition. Quote
