Glaucus Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 I live in the Plainfield and Mooresville area just west of Indy. The only public ponds I know of are Sodalis Nature Preserve and Hummel Park. Sodalis is trash and Hummel isn't much better. They're also highly pressured. I know of the White River but I need to know about ponds. I'm not interested in lakes yet. I don't have my Yak over here so I'm bank bound. I don't fish lakes from the bank. Thanks for any help. Quote
drfunk Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 (edited) I've only been fishing about a year but I've been trying lots of different spots in southern Indiana. By far my favorite place has been Glendale Fish & Wildlife Area. Glendale has 22 ponds scattered about and Dogwood Lake. I have only fished a handful of the ponds so far and Dogwood lake but it was the most productive area I've found. Dogwood lake also has dedicated shore fishing areas that are well maintained.
