Can you wire 2 6volt batteries of different amps together to get a 12volt. I wire 2 6volt all the time but they both have always been the same amps. Ex: Exide GC2 525 min @25 amps to CG2.

I would like to wire Exide E3600 390 min @25 amps to GC2.

Does all of this make sense.

Yes you can, but beware your run / amp hr will be based on the smaller amp battery not the larger.

6volt 360 amp connected to a 6volt 300 am will give you 12 volt 300 am system

If my info is wrong, some one please correct or ad to this answer

If my memory is correct, you will be doubling your time.  It would be on the lesser battery if wired in series.
