jjbassjj Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Just finished her. Cant wait to take it out on the water this weekend. You can get a general idea of what she used to be. I shouldve taken "before" pics but this is the best one I got. Before: Quote
jjbassjj Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 Mounted the trolling motor on the front. I used a trolling motor plug and ran 6 gauge wire to the back of the boat where the battery is at. I did this to balance the boat out a little bit. Quote
tennwalkinghorse Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Looks like a nice rig I just finished my 14' Jon so I know how you feel. Good Luck Quote
Dave D Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Nice looking rig! I like the original color! ;D Quote
MA1232 Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Look great JJ! What paint you used on the outside and on the inside? How do you modified the front for the TM? Thanks Quote
flippincrazy Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Nice. You load it in the truck bed for transport? 11ft is a great size. Quote
jjbassjj Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 The boat used to be a piece of junk. I bought her for 50 dollars. I bought the paint off of ebay and i dont the the specifics, but I know it was acrylic and the color is called Hulk Green. It was way too thick at first and i added quuite a bit of paint thinner which changed the color a tad bit. Ive been looking for a trailor for a good while but i cant find one for cheap. So yeah i just load it in the back of my stepdads old work van that has all the seats taken out. I will take some pics to show how i did the wiring when i get home. Quote
Dean Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Nice rig , and I would stay far away from any rough water with that if I were you! Quote
