Today I was finally able to get out and go to a real hair cutting establishment. First real haircut I've had since February. It feels good and I look like part of the human race again. After getting the haircut got lunch out.

Went on a scouting mission after lunch and found a lake I had heard about but never been to. It is a small lake and idle speed only but it is about 30 minutes from home. I hope to give it a shot and fish it one day next week.

Good thing I know how to cut hair.  Giving a few hair cuts on the back porch has fed the bait monkey.  Only thing is, I hate hanging an extra mirror in the bath room to cut mine.  I just buzzed mine off for the first time in 8 years.  Feels funny.

I got my first haircut since March 3rd yesterday. It was nice to get up this morning not looking like Don King

My wife and I both did some cutting on my hair. I wasn't so bad I had to wear a hat or go in to hiding but it was far from a professional haircut.

I tried to cut mine the first part of April. After a few snips with the shears I gave up and decided just to let it grow. Finally got a buzz cut last week. Now I can go out in the woods and not worry about ticks.

I've always did my own, it really got good at cutting hair when I was traveling for a living and i would cut hair for guys under me at the hotel for a 6 pack or a small fee. I also learned alot on youtube.  I have several hundred dollars invested in different trimmers, clippers, scissors, etc.   I enjoy it alot.

My man gon knock you out!!!

ive cut my own hair since high school, just like mowing the yard.  I’m not winning any fashion contests, I guess that’s about the time I just quit caring about what other people think

Finally got one from daughter in law on front porch.  Hair quit growing on right side due to radiation....well ....at least real slow after it all fell out.  Now both sides even....never had it this short...like above said...feels weird.

I'm too cheap to pay someone else $15 to buzz my hair. Buy a new pair of clippers a couple times a year and do it myself with a little help from my wife, saves a ton of money and I also gave up caring what other people think a long time ago.

At this point, I have wavy hair- one hair wavying good bye to the other one.? On top anyway.

The sides and back I trim myself until it gets too thick, then it’s off to the Bb shop. I go maybe 3 times a year. Same one I got my first haircut with...

Just For Men shampoo will help reduce that gray hair.

I gave myself a clipper haircut a month or so ago and accidentally cut it too close to my part and left a nice thin spot. I did get to the barber the other day to clean things up and I feel human again albeit my hair is a little shorter than usual. Hopefully my mistake grows back but at my age you never know.

What is this "hair" you all speak of?

I trim some fuzzy looking stuff off my head every now and then - well the sides anyways. And my back - joy.

I normally go about once every 45 days for a haircut that costs me $17. Well when the shops closed in mid March, my hair was fine. Never did I think the next haircut would be until June. So around mid April, I had enough of the birds nest so I went to three retail stores to try and find a clipper set. Completely wiped out! Check amazon and it’s a 3 week wait for a set. So I check eBay and finally win a bidding war for a nice set three times the cost. Wife uses it on me the next day and it looks like the same haircut I get at the shop. Needless to say I intend to use this now, at least in the summer out on the deck.

When I was married my wife insisted I pay to have my hair cut. I'm freaking bald! He did the same thing I did - clippers, except he'd use two different size guards and I only used one. He did do better touch up work though probably.

You paying 3 times as much for clippers will still save you money. But if your wife insists you return to the shop post Covid - well doing it yourself could become quite costly in other ways ;)

Ya I intend to use this clipper set at least in the summer months because doing it outside on the deck is pretty easy.  I just kind of let the wind disperse the cut hair.  Doing it inside in the winter months could be more challenging so that's when I see myself going back to the shop to have it done.  Three haircuts at home and the clipper set will pay for itself.

With my hair challenged head (not that much up there) I was in a barber shop years ago and it took longer for him to put the apron on than to shave the sparse hair on my head. I have it cut short. At the time, 10 bucks per 5 minute cut. I went across the street to Rite Aid and bought a razor for $19. The wife and I have been cutting my hair ever since. 1/8" come on the cutter and some trimming in the neck and around the ears and voila... Bald guy coming through..!

I have an appointment next Wednesday. Can’t wait.

Last time my hair was cut was February. All I have done since then is clip the sides and clean up the back of my neck.

My wife cuts my hair.

Even so, I still remember the last I was in a barbership, it was exactly 40 to 50 years ago.
