I use Tatsu- 15# for bottom contact and 12# for other lures. Lots of KVD line conditioner the night before. I've found the Tatsu to be fantastic; I've used a lot of different FC- Sniper, Invisx, Vanish, others I've forgotten.

I have Sunline Shooter Finesse on a spinning reel, but the line twists kill me. I use braid to leader on my most used spinning combos.

I have fished a lot of different brands of FC line.  None of it was enjoyable to fish so I always felt like I was looking for the most tolerable.    FC was replaced with other main lines and used as leader material, once it was used I never looked back.    I have yet to find a reason to spool any of my setups with FC.  Of all the the FC lines that I did fish I would say that TATSU was the most tolerable, but certainly not without its issues.   FC has a long ways to go before it will ever be spooled as a mainline on my setups.

I've been an Invisex guy for several years but I have been field testing the Hitena Bass Raptor FC this season. Haven't put line conditioner on it because I wanted to try it raw so there's some memory issues. That being said, I'm frankly impressed by it's ability to transmit vibration. I'm using the 20# as a leader for pitching jigs and straight 8# on my drop shot rod.

Certainly worth trying.

Sunline FC Sniper would be my line of choice, however I'm currently going through a huge stockpile of Seaguar InvisX that I acquired when Sports Authority was liquidating.

I only use flourocarbon for leaders on my spinning gear.  My casting gear is either going to have a heavy braid for top water, and a flouro- coated mono for jigs.  I don't get too fancy with what I buy.  Yo Zuri top knot is my go to, but I just bought a spool of Seaguar Red Label and I'm gonna give it a role.

Not overrated, just expensive.

For spinning tackle, give InvizX a try.

Baitcasting, AbrazX.

I like them both!

I absolutely love AbrazX for my deep cranking needs, where I crank in the northeast alot of bites happen when the bait makes contact with the bottom, so the AbrazX really shines in terms of abrasion resistance .

As someone who is new to FC my experience is very limited so take my words for what you will. I think the Red Label Seaguar is very good. I can only compare it to PLine Fluor clear and the Berkley vanish, but I really like it so far.

Sunline flipping flurocarbon for bottom contact..strong and sensitive. I also fish night tournaments so the strips every 30" or so glow under black light. day or night It's the best of both worlds
