Getting to that time of year for me and I've got a new frog rod on its way. I've used several brands and have settled on the boo yah pad crasher as my go to. For colors I throw white occasionally and black (nighttrain) 90% if the time. What's your favorite hollow body frog? Any colors stand out to you?

Ahh, froggin'. One of my favorite things to do. I actually got on a good frog bite today.

I have many different brands, but these are probably my top 5 frogs.

Booyah Pad Crasher (Kuro, Night Train, Bullfrog)

Live Target (Green Brown, Albino White)

Jackall Kaera (Bluegill)

Jackall Gavacho (Lime Frog, Red Frog)

Scum Frog Pro Series (Black Night, Green Pumpkin)

I like the spro bronzeye popping.  The live target look and work good to.  Green pumpkin and brown are my two main colors.

Anyone everyone ever use the Bobbin Frog by Chasebaits?

I was using the Keitech Noisy Flapper, but I do have some of the others mentioned.(never used any) I purchased an assortment of frogs based on replies to a post I did last year.

I have settled on three frogs:

-Jackal Galvacho - general walking/popping

-Sprinkler - open muddy water, sparse pads

-the big River2Sea one - duckweed, thicker pads

All above good choices - but, if there is a bit of breeze I always have an Optimum Furbit tied on - it has accounted for 25-30lb bags for us - last week my buddy in sofla had 25 on it - works in veggies and in open water - I've caught 19" spots in 25' of clear water with it up here.

I throw a lot of pad crashers and live target. I mainly only use black, white & brown if I’m not getting bit on those colors. I stop frogging and go to something else.

Popping frogs are great in open water. If I'm fishing any kind of floating vegetation/mats, it's regular frog 100% of the time since the cupped face of the popping frog gets hung up more.

Mine is/was the snagprof phat frog in original green color bit it's no longer available in this color which has me in a frog fog trying to decide what to do.

I've been catching them lately fishing surface weed edges with the Terminator Popping frog in Yellow Leopard. It's easy to walk and has a decent hookup rate. Also it's pretty durable as I've caught 31 bass on the one I've got tied on.

pad crasher exclusively for me, regular and popping.  I like white, leopard frog I think, and black.

Started using the Spro Dean Rojas frog, long time ago. I tried a couple of different brands. This year I'm using the Live Target frogs, 65 and 55 sizes.

+1  ... I'm with Bluebasser86 all the way !!  - I also use the regular Pad Crasher in the same colors when fishing in the spinach. On my very short list to try would be the Bronze Eye Frog in a couple of colors (only because I like / respect Arizona's Dean Rojas so much !) ... Just as much love for Jason Christie though as  I have seen what he can do with the Booyah Pad Crasher and Poppin Pad Crasher Frogs !!

I need to use frogs more this year . I've tried them in the past and have had very limited success but have  done pretty well  with a Stanley Ribbet .
