These boxes look pretty cool with the modular concept, but a little pricey. Curious if anyone has tried them out. Would take a lot to replace my 12$ Plano 4700 boxes. They showed up as a promoted post on FB today.

I don't see these doing well in the fishing world.

My opinion...too expensive and the dividers take up too much room in the box.

Largest compartment they list is a 1"x4" - fit maybe a single medium jerkbait in that. I have 6 jerkbaits that are all longer than 4" - so none of them would fit.

This is a craft-box, not a tackle box.

That was my thought too. The way the lid was designed does keep terminal tackle in place, but since I only use slider heads, doesn't do me much good. Was just curious if someone had it and thought differently.

Looks like by 4 they mean slots not inches. Poorly described and counter-intuitive  On the site  the 1x4 is 1.6" x 7.25"

Anyway, it isn't priced well. If it cost about the same as an Edge I'd try it, but not at double.

$30 + for the empty one - YOW - I can see buying that box if I kinda wanted it - and I had the disposable income - and I was drunk.   I like how heavy duty it is but darn - $30+ - probably going to have to pass - kinda like I've passed so far on the Bass Mafia boxes.

I like the general idea, and I don't like anything ;)

Con: the walls of the inner boxes look thick and appear to take up valuable space.

Pro: however hooks and snaps won't sneak underneath the walls like on my boxes.

I don't see much advantage for lures over plain old boxes, but I do like the total control over how big the spaces are. Most boxes don't give you that.

Maybe it would be cool to change out the inner boxes when you go out, like have some already filled with specific baits.

Interesting idea, and I'd probably try one for my terminal tackle but not at that price.

They have a massive issue. I just bought one, but they have a problem…

These are just thrown in with all the boxes so I suspect their actual purpose is lost in the shuffle, these aren’t really designed to be a stackable system like our plano boxes are. I think they’re essentially a merger of an old school folding tackle box and a Plano style box.

Mines going to be the island of misfit toys that don’t end up in any designated box. Chatterbaits, spinners etc. stuff I don’t run often but still have in the bag.

I don't see any advantage to this system that the Plano EDGE system does not provide at least as well, I have fully converted over to EDGE boxes and I have no regrets about it.

Have you ever had your edge terminal box open up?

I am debating between the two and the latch is really my deal breaker as mine will be in a backpack vertical and I have heard they open up from time to time.

Personally I never have, I carry mine in two different configurations, if I'm beating the bank I use a Cabelas Advanced Angler backpack which can store 5 3600 footprint EDGE boxes stored bottom down, the other way I store them is in my advanced angler bag for when I am on a boat and that stores them on the side, I guess if you were to reach in and try to grab them out by the latch you could theoretically have an issue with them popping open, but it's never been a problem for me.

Mine have been vertical in my kayak crate for two years. I have 6. None have opened.

The biggest issue with the edge boxes, and it is not really an issue, is the latches require some practice. They are advertised as one-handed operation and they are, just got to get the technique down. Thing I noticed is unless done right a lot of times only one latch latches, this could cause the seal to fail and I guess possibly open. If latched correctly, these don't open on their own.

If they open up on you, they were never really closed in the first place.  I had issues learning to get them closed when I first got mine, but it's not an issue now.

I have 2 Edge boxes in my kayak box that are on their side, one being the terminal box. If it opened it would be a disaster inside my kayak box. It never has and I have no concerns of it happening though.

Bumping this old thread to see if anyone else has tried out Buzbe boxes.

Kinda stuck on this vs a Plano Edge Flex. I think there are pros and cons to each. Modular systems for both have me intrigued as I kayak fish and customization and efficiency is king.

Buzbe seems to be better material, more reliable latches, floats, and they have a ton of options now.

Plano doesn't make you buy additional little boxes which is great when they're otherwise priced the same.

Pretty sure the Planos mostly float when they're sealed closed. Not sure about my terminal box, though I doubt any would float with weight of it.

When I first saw the Buzbe stuff when it debuted at ICAST several years ago the very first thing I thought was this is absolutely amazing......for people who make jewelry.
